Il Tempo opened its doors in the early 1990s, inspired by the Italian restaurant Gino’s on the Upper East Side (NY). It didn’t take long for the Art Deco wallpaper, designed by Flora Scalamandré for the Waldorf-Astoria in 1930, to become the talk of the town.
